Then start by creating a Project, then assign Tasks to that Project and finally add the Details needed to complete those Tasks.   • How do I add collaborators to a Project or Task?
    Once you have invited your colleague to your account, you can add them to your Projects or Tasks and define their permissions and access.
  • What can I save in Cognito?
    Cognito keeps you connected to all your information in a single place. You can save everything from contacts, emails, and websites to the files you use every day. All of these details are linked together by Task and are accessible at any time by logging into your Cognito account.
  • How many documents can I upload at once?
    Cognito permits you to upload up to 100 documents at one time.
  • Can I use dictation with Cognito?
    Yes, you can if you have enabled speech recognition on your computer. On a PC, click the Windows key + H. On a Mac, visit System Preferences, then click on Accessibility to set up Voice Control.

  • How do I log on?
    Click this link to get to the login page. Then, enter your user name and password and click the Login button to continue.
  • Can I reset my password?
    Click this link to get to the login page. Then, click "Forgot Password" to have a password reset email sent to your email address.
  • How can I add a user?
    Cognito makes it easy to add new users to your account. Once you've added them, they'll have access to all Cognito's features and be able to view the Projects and Tasks they've been invited to. If you're a Cognito Account Admin, you can invite new users by clicking "Invite User" on the Settings page. It takes under a minute!
  • Is my data secure?
    Yes, Cognito is hosted by AWS… "a data center and network architecture built to meet the requirements of the most security-sensitive organizations."
  • Is my data private?
    Cognito creates a unique account for each company which can only be accessed by users who have been added to that account. Separate from other Cognito users’ data, your data is protected by best-in-class AWS security.
  • Can I manage user permissions?
    Yes, Cognito Account Admins can change user roles. To change a users' role, visit Users & Permissions on the Settings page, edit the user and assign a new role. You can verify if you are an account admin by visiting Users & Permissions on the Settings page.
  • Can I deactivate a user?
    Yes, Cognito Account Admins can deactivate users. Visit the Settings page and click the Users & Permissions tab. There you can quickly toggle to deactivate a user.
  • Do you charge per license or per seat?
    Cognito subscription charges are based on the number of seats purchased.
  • Are there any data limits to your plans?
    No, Cognito does not have any data caps. Cognito encourages you add as much information as you need to be able to create an optimal workflow for you or your organization
  • Is my payment data secure?
    Yes, Cognito uses Stripe. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
  • How can I change my payment method & details?
    Cognito provides you with control and flexibility over your account. Visit the Settings page and click the Billing tab to modify your payment method and other details.
  • When is my credit card charged?
    You will be billed at the end of the free trial, and every month thereafter.
  • Can I add or remove seats?
    Yes, Cognito's self-invoicing options provide you with control and flexibility over your account. Visit the Settings page and click the Billing tab to view the link to add or remove seats.
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    If you'd like to cancel your plan for any reason, you can do so on the Settings page. Just click the Billing tab to access those options.
